The company has 1 double-head laser cutting machine with a 4000 x 2500 mm working range and a 20 mm maximum working thickness, and 1 machine with a 3000 x 1500 working range and 25 mm maximum cutting thickness.

The nesting technology prepared for the laser cutting machine, provides detailed and precise processing that drastically reduces the quantity of waste, thus limiting pollution and disposal costs.

The types of laser cutting used by Z.F. are distinguished according to the source type: in fact, both C02 laser cutting and fibre laser cutting are carried out:

• C02 laser cutting: the carbon dioxide laser makes a gas cut through an infrared light beam. This type of cut is the best solution for thick steel plates, being characterized by a high efficiency associated with excellent cutting quality.
• Fibre laser cutting: the beam is produced through a laser seed and increases thanks to glass fibres. The power of this system reaches 6000 W. Fibre laser cutting allows the processing of materials such as brass and copper, guaranteeing precision and speed.
